Past Speaking Engagments

Melinda is a woman in pursuit of the Lord Jesus Christ.  She loves to seek God through the studying of God's Word, which paired with her communication and teaching abilities has birthed a ministry in speaking, writing Bible studies, and leading worship.​


In June 2005 Melinda was widowed, when through an act of violence Tim went home to be with the Lord. She continued to raise their two boys, Tyler and Jordan, and began living out her desire to be the woman of faith that she saw in the book of Ruth.


Melinda met her “Boaz,” Ellis, and helped him plant The River Community Church  in Natchitoches, Louisiana. They married in 2008, and she continues to serve there helping her husband minister to their congregation. 


As God opens doors at various churches, conferences and retreats, Melinda brings life-changing messages to her audiences as she shares her personal testimony and God's Word to edify, equip, and encourage the body of Christ. ​
